Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21(KJV)
Announcements
We will be celebrating the ordinance of humility, the Holy Communion this Sabbath, 28th December, 2024. This special occasion offers us a wonderful opportunity to come together in faith and fellowship. We hope you can join us for this meaningful service.
Change of pastors - Pr Tihomir Zestic - On 15th December, 2024, the SEC Executive Committee voted to invite Pastor Tihomir Zestic to assume care of Oxford, Oxford International, Banbury and Wantage churches, effective from 1st February, 2025. Pastor Rudi's last Sabbath with us, officially as pastor of our church at Oxford church, is 25th January, 2025. We thank God for Pr. Rudi and his family. They've been a great blessing to our Church for over 5 years and we pray that God grant him grace as he moves to Bracknell soon to look after Bracknell and Guildford churches. Please let us all extend a warm welcome to our new pastor when we comes to Oxford.
Music Ministries:
The Music Ministry sincerely thanks the entire church for your participation in last Sabbath’s Music Emphasis Sabbath. The department deeply appreciates everyone’s contributions through congregational singing, special items, and inviting visitors, friends and family. Special thanks to the Oxford Women’s Ministries for providing food for so many. The department looks forward to your continued support and participation in future events.
Join the Church Choir: The music department is inviting new members to join the Church Choir. If you are interested, please see Bro. Kofi, Sis. Nicole, or Sis. Mutsa for more information.
Prayer Ministries:
Our Tuesday, Mid-week prayer and bible study sessions are held in-person at church. Please invite friends, and neighbours, as we stand in the gap, seeking the Lord in Prayer and bible study. We would also like to remind the church community (those who are willing and able) that we will be fasting and praying every other Tuesday of the week in our respective homes. Testimonies and breakthroughs will be shared when we meet for prayer at 7pm at Oxford Seventh-day Adventist Church.
GAP prayer group is open to all members who would like to pray and intercede for others. Every day 6am and 2pm. Kindly note that we use a free conference call app for GAP prayer meetings on this website, freeconferencecall.com . To participate:

Memory Text: “ ‘You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me’ ” (John 5:39).
God’s perspective is vastly different from that of humans. God shares His perspective with us through His Word, the Bible, under the power of the Holy Spirit. It is our choice whether we wish to walk in darkness or accept the light coming from Jesus Christ as revealed in the Word.
Integral to this choice is our own personal surrender to Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Redeemer of humanity. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, God the Father has revealed to us—in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus—the depth of His love. And we know about Jesus because His life, death, and resurrection have been recorded in the Word of God.
